Ice cream is one of those delicacies that was hard to give up when first going plant-based but it doesn't have to be! Vegan ice cream is just as creamy, flavorful, and delicious as regular dairy ice cream. Orlando has a few local places that offer homemade ice cream and offer vegan options as well. The two spots that are my go-to when craving some creamy delicious ice cream are The Greenery Creamery and Kelly's ice cream.
The Greenery Creamery
The Greenery Creamery is located in downtown Orlando and in downtown Sanford offering small-batch dairy and vegan flavors on signature vegan cones. Some of my favorites flavors are blueberry lavender and ube. The amazing thing about this place is that they offer seasonal flavors during the fall, winter, and summer.
2. Kelly's Homemade Ice Cream
Kelly's homemade ice cream is located near Winter Park on Corrine Dr offering homemade ice cream and sorbets. This place also offers seasonal flavors for both dairy and dairy-free ice cream. Their ice creams are creamy and smooth and offer a variety of different unique flavors.
