VEGAN LASAGNA RECIPE


Try this delicious plant-based lasagna with faux meat, tofu ricotta, and yummy bolognese sauce. Lasagna is one of my favorite dishes and before going plant-based it was my go-to easy pasta dish. Lasagna is a simple dish with a delish outcome.


This recipe is influenced by past recipes I have done with some of my own added ingredients. Grab your pots and pans and let's get cooking!


Ingredients:

  • 12 ounces of lasagna noodles

  • 16 oz of Beyond Meat Beyond Beef

  • 1/2 tbsp Salt

  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast

  • 1 tbsp garlic

  • 16oz vegan bolognese pasta sauce

  • 2 cups tofu ricotta cheese

  • vegan cheddar cheese

First, you want to preheat the oven to 400*F. Next, heat up a pan with some olive oil and cook the beyond beef, add the seasoning and cook for about 10-12 minutes.

You then want to cook the pasta by bringing water, oil, and salt to a boil.

After draining the pasta, it's time to prep.

First cover the pan with the pasta sauce, lasagna noodles, tofu ricotta, pasta sauce, beyond beef, and cheese. you would repeat this for four layers.

Lastly, bake the lasagna for 30 minutes until golden brown. Slice up and plate and I hope you enjoy it!
